We not only pursue comfort, peak performance and durability, but also ensure strict quality control in all steps of our design and manufacturing processes, including material selections, sewing and processing.
However, in case the product performance degrades or is damaged while in use, we repair and restore its original function for free of charge.
Our repair service was launched with our wish that one will cherish the life of our products through repairing and taking good care of them. We hope that this will help drive reduction of apparel waste and unnecessary consumption and manufacturing, playing our part in the environmental conservation.

*Repairs provided by Goldwin are intended to restore the functionality of the product, not to return it to its original condition in terms of design or appearance.Therefore, damage such as scuffs or scratches that do not require functional restoration are not covered. If it is determined that functional recovery is not necessary, the item may be returned as is.

How long does it take for repair in the Japan factory?
Our typical turnaround time is 6-12 weeks from the time we receive your product at our Japan factory until it is returned. In some cases, we can get it back to you sooner. In some cases, it may take longer.
*During peak season our turnaround time can be longer than eight weeks.
*If your product needs to be sent out to be cleaned, you may expect up to two additional weeks before it will be returned to you.

Precise re-application of waterproof seam sealing tape
Seam tape is applied to cover the needle holes on all of our waterproof products to block water from entering through the seams. Using Seam Sealer – a specialized machine – the seam tape is re-applied to ensure your product Long Lifecycle after the repair.
Worn-out logo and a hole on a jacket will revive through our bonding technique
Our bonding technology can repair a worn-out logo and a hole on a waterproof jacket or down jacket. Leveraging the rich expertise in adhesive technology unique to Goldwin, as the designer and manufacture, for the repair process will ensure the most suitable repair method.
Zipper repair to restore the original function
Zippers are more prone to wear and damage and we repair them for you. Every season brings new specifications and designs – our deep and rich understanding of product’s original design philosophy drives the techniques to restore the product as close to its original state as possible.
Breathing new life into the damaged area – patched finishing with a fresh fabric.
Our patching technique involves carefully removing the damaged or holed area and replacing with a new fabric. This process requires seasoned skillsets to integrate the new fabric seamlessly as the natural part of the product. Our repair goes beyond your initial request. If a fraying seam is spotted, we will consult with you and repair such vulnerability.
