Reducing strain on the body enables longer distances and extended periods of movement, leading to
new discoveries in the natural world.
For the Spring/Summer 2026 season, Goldwin further refines its pursuit of lightweight performance, a
key benefit that supports this freedom of movement. To precisely align each item in the
Performance line with specific activity objectives, Goldwin adopts Beats Per Minute (BPM), a measure of heart rate per minute, as a guiding performance index.
Three distinct BPM levels are defined:
170 BPM, engineered to withstand the demands of elite athletes;
150 BPM, designed to support a wide range of activities, from everyday running to hiking; and
130 BPM, developed with added protection and practicality in mind for extended hours of walking.
Top trail runners typically complete 100-mile races at heart rates around 130–140 BPM, reaching 170 BPM only during moments of peak exertion, such as a final sprint. Using this figure as its benchmark, the 170 BPM line is engineered for dynamic movement, combining anatomically contoured construction with lightweight materials. By eliminating non-essential elements such as pockets, each design is
refined into an extremely minimal and uncompromising form.

For
Athletes
The 150 BPM line focuses not only on lightness, breathability, and mobility, but also on comfort and
everyday usability. While maintaining a lightweight feel, it incorporates soft, skin-friendly materials. As a result, it represents the most balanced design among the three lines, capable of supporting a wide
range of activities from everyday running to fast hiking.

Lovers
Designed with comfort and usability on the trail in mind, the 130 BPM line places an emphasis on
utility, offering easy storage for small items, enhanced warmth and durability, and unrestricted freedom of movement. While the BPM level reflects a moderately elevated heart rate, every item in the line,
from waterproof shells to wool cut-and-sew pieces, provides ample performance functionality, all built
on a foundation of well-balanced lightweight construction.
