Ruy Ueda
A leading professional mountain runner from Japan with a distinguished career in trail and skyrunning. Engaging in track and field since middle school, he served as captain at the prestigious Saku Chosei High School. However, recurring injuries prevented him from achieving his full potential during those years. After entering Waseda University, he joined a track club and entered the Shibamata 100K as a “final memory of his teens,” finishing an impressive 5th. This performance led to his scout into the world of trail running. He won his debut race with a new course record, instantly showcasing his extraordinary talent.
