A continuous cycle of experimentation and refinement
The Goldwin 0 Spring Summer 2026 collection emerges from an intuitive and curiosity-driven approach to garment design, striking a balance between technical detail and creative expression.
Research and prototyping remains grounded in the expertise of the brand’s facilities in Toyama, Japan, finding inspiration in the possibilities of the manufacturing process. Familiar pieces are pushed to new levels of lightness and functionality, such as a three-layer waterproof jacket made with an ultra-thin 10-denier ripstop fabric that is near-translucent. Concealed laser cut ventilation gives a clean silhouette while an accompanying three-layer rain-wrap provides similarly lightweight functionality to the lower half.
Throughout the collection is a focus on innovative approaches to warm weather protection and comfort, expressed through both material choice and construction. UV-protective Screen Anorak and Screen Pants offer UPF50+ protection from sunlight in a lightweight ripstop polyester seersucker. Long sleeved cotton tops feature mesh back panels that provide breathability in line with the body’s heat map. Meanwhile an understated complexity plays out in garments that balance advanced construction techniques with refined simplicity, as typified by the Helicoid T-shirt with its intricate signature tubular spiral construction crafted from a single single piece of fabric.
Hardware, colourways and fastenings build on research developed across previous seasons, emphasising the Goldwin 0 ethos of evolution and experimentation over time. This sense of continuity in turn provides the foundation for playful experimentation, as seen in Retroflective Striped Shirt and Retroflective Pants, produced with an original custom-made fabric that incorporates reflective yarn, a unique Screen Bandana Pouch that functions both as a face covering and a storage pouch, and in the structural Convertible Jacket that can be separated into a bolero and vest top for adaptable styling.
