Junko Hoshino

Junko Hoshino (born 25 September 1989 Japan) is from Akita prefecture and member of Team Listel. In middle school she started her training in mogul skiing after being inspired watching the Japanese athletes competing in both the Nagano and Salt Lake Olympics. She fulfilled her dreams of competing in Sochi after coming in 3rd at the 2013/14 World Cup. She made a return after her injury this season with her strong suit in air as she skillfully showed her powerful technique with the difficult corkscrew 720.
