The Goldwin 0 Fall Winter 2025 collection is grounded in hands-on inspiration, bringing details to the surface through an intuitive process of deconstruction and refinement. The season looks towards the archive, and an exploration of the manufacturing and testing facilities in Toyama, Japan. Both items and concepts are taken apart, reassembled, evolved – embracing a recursive and circular approach to design. Throughout the collection there is a focus on archetypal shapes and the thoughtful complexity of high-performance outdoor equipment. Insulated parkas and short cocoon jackets crafted from Primaloft insulation and ultralight GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER combine windproof performance with remarkable lightness. Features such as mesh pockets and insulated tubing are left exposed on insulated parkas, displaying intricate construction elements that typically remain hidden. As ever, core designs are re-explored and evolved, including Parachute Seed Ripstop Jacket and Pants, and Helicoid Wide Trousers with a three dimensional spiral structure. Meanwhile material choices spanning abrasion-resistant Pertex Diamond Fuse nylon and soft wool-polyester fleece offer a balance between functionality and elevated comfort. Key importance is given to small details, as seen in the development of unique mesh-knit ribbing on cuffs and hems and a procedural consistency to zippers, elastics, hardware and other finishes. A similar level of focus plays out in the use of innovative construction techniques such as Goldwin’s proprietary 3D Box Baffle construction in lightweight down vests, and in perforated balaclava knit tops made using seamless Wholegarment technology. With each garment there is a sense of building upon existing foundations. A dedication to the core Goldwin 0 principles of learning from what already exists and gradually refining and improving concepts over time.
